Peter Kelly

Peter brings more than 40 years of experience across healthcare staffing, recruitment and executive leadership, including senior roles with Nursing Australia and Alpha Nursing. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions at the highest levels of the sector, including CEO roles, giving him a strong understanding of what it takes to lead organisations through growth, change and operational complexity.

 

His background spans workforce management, recruitment, client service and business operations, with a leadership style shaped by accountability, sound judgement and a deep understanding of people led service businesses. He is recognised for his ability to lead with clarity, build strong teams and create organisations that are both commercially sustainable and operationally effective.

 

At the centre of Peter’s approach is a simple but important question: how do we manage risk? That mindset has been a constant throughout his career and continues to shape the way he supports governance, leadership and decision making. It reflects his focus on quality, responsibility and building businesses that are resilient, well led and positioned for long term success.

 

As Chairman of the Board, Peter brings strategic oversight, leadership excellence and deep sector experience to the organisation. He also plays an active role in mentoring our leaders and managers at Chris Barnard, sharing his experience to help strengthen capability across the business and support the next generation of leadership.
